Enid Moffitt Perry

Enid Moffitt Perry, age 92, of 401 Lambert Road, Biscoe, formerly of Taft Street, Troy, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation, Biscoe. Mrs. Perry was born May 13, 1920 at Chatham County, NC, the daughter of Robert Charm and Eva Culberson Moffitt. She was the eldest of seven children. She was a loving and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Troy. Even in her later years when her health would not permit her to attend, she was still faithful in her heart to her church. Enid was also involved in her community. She was a lifetime member of the Troy Woman's Club and manager of Cato's of Troy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Perry and son, Lowell Perry. She is survived by one daughter, Janno Perry Lewis and husband, Buck of Troy; two sisters: Betty M. Riding of Greensboro and Cordelia M. Hicks of Asheboro; one brother: Jimmy Moffitt of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, June 29, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Troy. Her service will be at 2 pm in the chapel with Dr. Phillips McRae officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Community Home Care and Hospice, 533 S.
