Mary Thompson Kelly

Mary "Pete" Thompson Kelly, age 85, of 602 Aileen Ave, Biscoe, formerly of Troy, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Baaseiah Family Care of Biscoe, N.C. Pete was born September 10, 1926 at Mount Croghan, SC, the daughter of John and Alice Morris Thompson. She was a retired employee with twenty-six years of service at both Capel Rug Mill and Collins & Aikman Corporation. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Roy L. Kelly. She is survived by one daughter, Sue Hall Freeman of Troy; one grandson, Jimmy Hunsucker and wife, Tina of Troy; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 2649 NC Hwy 134N, Troy. A memorial graveside service will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Uwharrie United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hwy 109 North, Troy with Rev. Jerry Mabry and Rev. Arlen Johnson officiating.
