Jane Dennis Kearns

Jane Dennis Kearns, age 86, of 401 Lambert Road, Biscoe, formerly of Troy, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation, Biscoe. Mrs. Kearns was born December 28, 1925 at Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of John Wesley and Lena Leach Dennis. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She owned and operated Jane's Beauty Shop for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Max C. Kearns, Sr., grandson, Max Kearns, III sisters, Jacqueline Dennis, Exie Bowman, brothers, John Wesley Dennis, Jr. and Roy Dennis She is survived by two daughters: Linda K. Williamson and Breta K. Gillis, both of Troy, three sons: Max Kearns, Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida, Mark Kearns of Apex, Tab Kearns of Cary; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am in the Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 239 N. Russell Street, Troy with Rev. Kelly Sorg officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
