Thomas Victor Morgan

Thomas Victor "Tom" Morgan, age 71, of 432 Triumph Street, Troy died Friday, January 13, 2012 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mr. Morgan, a native of Oregon, was born June 16, 1940, the son of Kenny and Lucille Larson Morgan. He attended Linfield College of Portland, Oregon. He was a member of the Sons of American Revolution, American Legion Post #1981 and the US Forestry Association. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and owner/operator of Tom Morgan Logging. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Leach Morgan of the home; one daughter: Erin Bowman of McMinnville, OR; two sons: Christopher Morgan of San Diego, CA, Tucker Morgan of Lincoln City, OR; three sisters: Carol Cruikshank, Bonnie Malone and Patty Smith, all of OR; one brother: K. L. Morgan of OR; one step-daughter, Melissa Dunn of Troy; three stepsons, Andrew Dennis, Neal Clark and Michael Clark, all of Troy; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson. The family will receive friends Monday, January 16, 2012 from 6pm - 8pm at the home of Mr. Morgan, 432 Triumph Street, Troy. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Oregon.
