Moua Lee Vang

Moua Lee Vang, 94 years of age of 265 Vang Drive, Mount Gilead, NC passed away on January 6. She was born in Xieng Khouang, Laos on September 9, 1917. She was married to Chongkao Vang. They had 8 sons and 5 daughters. She came to the United States in 1979 as a Southeast Asian Refugee to Mobile, Alabama and eventually moved to Mount Gilead, NC in 1989. She was survived by her four sons, Neng Vang, Tou Vang, Bee Vang, and Teng Vang; 36 grandsons and 22 granddaughters, 46 great-grandsons and 62 great-granddaughters, and 9 great-great grandsons and 10 great-great-granddaughters. A funeral will be held at the Montgomery County Agriculture Center in Troy, NC beginning at 8 am Friday, January 20, 2012 and will conclude Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory, Albemarle, NC. Funeral arrangements and services are coordinated by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
