Mildred Russell Smith

Mildred Russell Smith, age 91, formerly of Williamson St, Troy died Friday, December 30, 2011 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Mrs. Smith was born December 9, 1920 in Brooksdale, NC the daughter of the late John A. and Leslie (Graham) Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Purvis Smith, and sister, MIriam Lane Russell. She attended Greensboro College and was formerly employed by Charleston County Mental Health as a clerical secretary. She is survived by one daughter: Miriam Elizabeth Jicha of Chapel Hill, NC; grandson, Gregory Russell Jicha and daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Jicha of Washington, DC; grandson, Karl Armstrong Jicha and spouse Candice Mitchell Jicha, and their daughter Camille Christine Jicha of Durham, NC; special Friend, Claude Ingram of Winston Salem, NC. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Troy. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 239 N.
