Theodore Lee Gaslin

Theodore Lee Gaslin, age 79, of 5139 Woodrun on Tillery, Mt. Gilead, NC died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC. Mr. Gaslin was born January 18, 1932 in Wadena, Minnesota, the son of the late Milton and the late Frances Gaslin. He attended the University of Minnesota and Wayne State in Detroit, MI. He was as US Navy veteran and a Quality Assurance Director with 39 years of service in the metal forge industry. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Gaslin. Mr. Gaslin is survived by his wife Donna Beck Gaslin of the home; two daughters: Kathy Hagans and Patricia Brocker, both of Columbus, OH; two brothers: William Gaslin and wife Mary, of Eden Prairie, MN, Warren Gaslin and wife Sally, of Denver CO; one sister, Mary Klementson and husband Bill, of Kent WA; seven grandchildren; three stepdaughters: Susan Phillips and Kelly Cox, both of Charlotte, NC, Denise Raineri of Albemarle, NC; special friend: Colleen Colvin of Mt. Gilead, NC. At the request of Mr. Gaslin, there will be no service. Memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice. Pugh-Troy Funeral Home is assisting the Gaslin family.
