Loreene Parsons Burrow

Loreene Parsons Burrow, age 82, of 302 Lilly Street, Troy died Monday, January 31, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mrs. Burrow was born January 28, 1929 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Solomon Lancaster and Nola Ritter Parsons. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Troy. After retiring with 29 years of service from Collins & Aikman Corporation, she was an employee at Wescare Center for Children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Asbury Burrow, Sr., a brother, J.D. Parsons and a sister, Larue P. Hare. She is survived by three sons: Larry A. Burrow of the home, Darrell M. Burrow of High Point, Ron E. Burrow of Burlington; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one sister: Eunice Brewer of Star; one brother: S.L. Parsons of Biscoe. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134N, Troy with Pastor Jeff Ray officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
