Agnes Russell Dennis

Agnes Russell Dennis, formerly of Troy, age 86, of Center Claire Nursing Home, Lexington died Monday, December 20, 2010 at the facility. Mrs. Dennis was born May 19, 1924 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Cled and Lola Harris Russell. She was a member of Uwharrie United Methodist Church and a former employee of Capel's Inc. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Mutt" Dennis. She is survived by three brothers: William L Russell of Thomasville, John L Russell of Flint, MI, Devereaux Russell of Asheboro; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Uwharrie United Methodist Church, Hwy. 109 N., Troy with Rev. Jack Luther officiating. Burial will be in Uwharrie United Methodist Church Cemetery.
