James Albert Thompson

James Albert "Bud" Thompson, formerly of Troy, age 91, of Autumn Care Of Biscoe, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at Autumn Care. Mr. Thompson was born June 15, 1919 in Troy, NC the son of the late Richard and the late Daisy Talbert Thompson. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Allen Thompson. He is survived by one sister: Mildred Haithcock of Troy; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Vannoy officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service; other times at the home of Vera and Tim Kimble of 532 Warner Road, Troy. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
