James Arnold Greene

James Arnold Greene, age 68, of 1825 Love Joy Road, Troy died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home. Mr. Greene was born October 14, 1942 in Troy, NC, the son of Clyde Alexander and Alma Gillis Greene. He was a member of Love Joy United Methodist Church, a US Air Force veteran and former employee with 15 years of service with Myrick Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Alexander and Alma Gillis Greene. He is survived by his wife: Mary Brown Greene of the home; two daughters: Mary Catherine Byrd and Jeanne Greene, both of Troy; one brother: Daniel W. Greene of Summerfield. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Love Joy United Methodist Church, Substation Road, Troy with Rev. Tommy Haynes and Rev. Clay Morgan officiating.
