Clyde "C.B." DeBerry

Clyde "C.B." DeBerry, age 89, ended his journey on this earth to be with our Lord on December 30, 2008. He was the only child of the late Myrtle Rhew. He was a devoted, loving husband, a wonderful father. To all who knew him, he was a gentle giant.He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth; daughter, Pat Hatley and her husband, Clay of Charlotte; stepsons, Lannie Curry of Troy and Danny Curry of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Kim Tillman and husband, Joe, Kandy Murphy and husband, Jeff, Tracy Hatley and wife, Stacey; 5 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends Friday, January 2, 2009 from 1-2 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy. The funeral service will be Friday at 2pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Pope officiating.
