James Kenneth "Hogie" Hogan

James Kenneth "Hogie" Hogan, age 60, of 369 Substation Rd, Troy died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at V.A. Medical Center, Salisbury.Mr. Hogan was born January 3, 1948 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of James Madison and Verlie (Freeman) Hogan. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a former employee of Klaussner Furniture. In addition to his mother, Verlie Freeman Hogan of Troy, he is survived by one sister, Delores Janet Hoover of Asheboro and one brother, Larry Dale Hogan of Troy.The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at Westwood Apts, Apt 13B, Troy. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Forks of Little River Baptist Church, 2356 Okeeweemee-Star Rd., Troy with Larry Dale Hogan and Richard Lynthacum officiating. Burial will be in Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
