Robert Hoyet(Buckshot) Morris

Robert Hoyet (Buckshot) Morris, age 43, of 306 Lakeview Dr., New London died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his home. Mr. Morris was born April 12, 1965 in Montgomery County, NC the son of Faber Hoyet and Jolene (Lowder) Morris of Troy. He was a concrete finisher and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Shonda(Goodman) Morris of Richfield; son: Jeffrey Morris of Richfield; three brothers: Douglas Morris and wife, Terri of New London, Frankie Morris and wife Tamara of Troy, Hoyet Morris, Jr. of Concord; brother-in-law: Garrett Goodman and wife, Donna of Mt. Gilead; nieces and nephews: Michael, Nathan, Shaina, Lionel, Mickey, Sonya, Caila, Darien, Brianna, Stephanie, Shellie, Steven and Aidan. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of his parents, Hoyet and Jolene Morris, 294 Mullinix Rd., Troy. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 pm at Open Door Baptist Church, 26439 NC Hwy 49S #A, Richfield with Rev. Gene Mullis and Rev. Don Jarrell officiating.
