Phaeng Douangkham

Phaeng Douangkham, age 99, of Troy passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Douangkham was born April 13, 1920 in Laos, the daughter of the late Kong Seesook and his wife. Mrs. Douangkham loved gardening and was the caretaker for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by one son: Khamtem Douangkham; two daughters: Bounthant Chanthavong and Panh Buarapha; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister. She was preceded in death by sons: Bounechan Douangkham and Khamphon Douangkham, and three sisters. Due to the guidelines for the COVID 19 virus her body will lie in state at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC, 27371 on Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 12:00PM to 5:00 PM.
