Hazel Allen Thompson

Hazel Allen Thompson, age 81, of 127 Haithcock St., Troy died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy. Mrs. Thompson was born August 7, 1926 in Wilson County, the daughter of the late Floyd and the late Edna (Smith) Allen. She was a former employee of Clayson Hoisery and attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband James "Bud" Thompson of the home; four sisters: Alice Hamilton of Mt. Gilead, Ruby McIntyre of Raleigh, Betty Braddock of Atlanta, Georgia, Peggy Moore of Bath; one brother: Charles Allen of Trinity. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:30-8:30 pm at Pugh- Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 818 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Troy with Rev. Tom Vannoy officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Mt.
