Virginia Magleane Cagle Chriscoe

Magleane Cagle Chriscoe, age 89, of 346 Ridge Rd., Seagrove died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry Reeder and Rev. Ron Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Chriscoe was a native of Randolph County and a member of Center Christian Church. She formerly worked in Hemp, NC where she was employed with the first nylon company that made parachutes for WWII. Mrs. Chriscoe retired from Burlington Mills in Asheboro in 1983 and was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Chriscoe. She loved gardening, her flowers, and all of her neighbors. She is survived by daughter and her husband, Ruby and Mike Mullin of Seagrove, NC; son and his wife, Roy and Donna Chriscoe of Seagrove, NC; granddaughter and her husband, Tina and Dave Wood of North Myrtle Beach, SC; grandson, Chris Mullin of Star, NC; great granddaughter, Savanna Wood of North Myrtle Beach, SC; brother and his wife, Vernon and Olga Cagle of Asheboro, NC; sister and her husband, Maxie and Jim Smith of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 6-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro and other times at her home.
