Rayvon Elvin Jarrell

Rayvon Elvin Jarrell, age 65, of 274 Tower Rd., Troy died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. Mr. Jarrell was born January 29, 1942 at Montgomery County, NC the son of the late Edgar and the late Vergie (Kelly) Jarrell. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, a US Navy veteran and a retired employee of Collins & Aikman. He is survived by his wife Joyce Gibson Jarrell of the home; one daughter: Angela Singleton of Troy; four sons: Brian Jarrell, Chris Jarrell, Greg Jarrell and Jason Jarrell, all of Troy; one sister: Linda Beane of Ellerbe; one brother: James Jarrell of Asheboro; 3 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home. A graveside service with military honors will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Church Road, Troy with Rev. Lonnie Gibson officiating.
