Harold Morgan Sasser

Harold Morgan Sasser, Sr., age 77, of 328 Roslyn Road, Troy died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at his home. Mr. Sasser was born February 9, 1930 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of the late Jesse and the late Monnie (Morgan) Sasser. Mr. Sasser was preceded in death by his wife Elgie Nell Poole Sasser . He was a member of Love Joy United Methodist Church and retired Transportation Supervisor for the Montgomery County School System. He is survived by two daughters: Ellen Sedberry and husband, Ted of Troy, Donna Maness and husband, Eddie of Star; one son Harold Sasser, Jr. and wife, Angie of Troy; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-3 pm in the fellowship hall of Love Joy United Methodist Church, Troy; other times at the home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Love Joy United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Haynes and Rev. Gary Rutherford officiating.
