Randy Clay East

Randy Clay East, age 52, of 216 Stanly Dr., Lake In The Pines, Troy died Friday, September 21, 2007 at his home. Mr. East was born October 30, 1954 at Randolph County, NC, the son of Clay and Martha East. He was owner and operator of Professional Upholstry & Auto Trim of Seagrove. He enjoyed NASCAR, loved and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and granddaughter. He was a man with a big heart and will be missed greatly. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Patty Knight East of the home; three sons: Randy East, Jr., Jacob East and Willie East, all of Asheboro; five sisters: Cynthia Lucas, Lisa McLean, Regina Hawk, Angie Greer and Rhonda East; three brothers: Greg East, Marty East and Calvin East; granddaughter: Makalah Thompson. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-9 PM at Pugh- Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at White Crest Baptist Church Cemetery, 1051 River Rd., Mt. Gilead with Rev. Howard McNeill officiating.
