Ernestine Sadler Johnson

Ernestine Sadler Johnson, age 86, of 1021 N Main St, Randleman, formerly of Troy, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Johnson was born April 5, 1921 at Richmond County, NC, the daughter of the late James Kenneth and the late Lizzie (Spivey) Sadler. She was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Laughlin Hosiery Mill with 30 years of service. She is survived by one daughter: Sheila J. Williams and husband, Dennis of Asheboro; one son: James Leroy Johnson and wife, Linda of Randleman; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 10-11 am at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:30 am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 141 Pleasant Grove Ch. Rd., Mt. Gilead with Rev. Kenneth L. Reeves officiating.
