Beatrice Bailey Braswell

Beatrice Bailey Braswell, age 94, of Sterling House, 1920 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, formerly of Troy, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill. Beatrice was born July 26, 1918 at Union County, NC, the daughter of Frank and Florence Strawn Bailey. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Troy until she moved to be near her family in Rock Hill, SC. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Clarence Braswell. She is survived by three sons: Boyce Murray Elliott, H. Keith Elliott and James Allen Elliott; one sister: Juanita Bailey Callicutt of Troy; she was affectionately known as "Nanny" by her seven grandchildren who survive: Jennifer Elliott Page, H. Keith Elliott, Jr., Eleanor Elliott Sanford, Hanna Elliott Buchner, James Allen Elliott, Jr., Lana Dawn Elliott, Ashton Murray Elliott and her eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. A graveside service will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Southside Cemetery, S Main St, Troy with Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, P.O.
