Thomas Franklin Shaw

Thomas Franklin Shaw, III, age 74, of Troy passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Forrest Oakes Health Care in Albemarle. 

Mr. Shaw was born November 17, 1946 in Troy, NC the son of the late Thomas F. Shaw Jr. and Alta Shaw Sasser.  

Mr. Shaw was a retired teacher/School Administrator. He had worked in multiple schools in Florence, S.C. and Montgomery County, N.C. He was a graduate of Pembroke University and Pfeiffer University. He enjoyed playing golf and working in his yard.

He is survived by his mother, Alta Shaw Sasser of Albemarle and sister, Martha McRae (Mike) of Albemarle, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Southside Cemetery, Main St., Troy.
