Sammy Cauldwell Price, Jr.

Sammy Cauldwell Price, Jr., age 79, of Biscoe, NC died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the home of his son in Star. Mr. Price was born March 17, 1941 the son of Sammy and Louise Benton Price. Mr. Price was a native of Marshville, NC and worked as a machinist. He enjoyed attending East Montgomery High School Football games and was a UNC Tarheel Basketball fan and, enjoyed NASCAR. The highlight of his days prior to COVID-19 restrictions was going to the Troy Senior Center. He also liked to attend DCAD (Davidson County Association for the Deaf) gatherings in Lexington, NC. Sammy is preceded in death by: wife: Margaret Price; sister: Nancy Hagler and two brothers: Benton and Max Price. He is survived by son and his wife: Sammy III (Mary) Price of Biscoe, NC; son: Tim Price of Star, NC; daughter: Jane Price of Biscoe, NC; sister: Sue Price of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Private Family Service Will Be Held. Pugh Funeral Home, Troy is serving the family.
